Andy Murray

Andy Murray is a male professional tennis player from the United Kingdom. Andy is 28 years old and was born on May 15, 1987. He is currently ranked second on the professional tour. Murray has won two grand slam title during his career. He has consistently stayed in the a top ranked spot and made it far in many grand slam tournaments. Since 2011, Murray has reached at least the quarter finals in all of his grand slam tournaments. Andy married Kim Shears just last year. He was the first man to win a grand slam singles tournament from the United Kingdom since 1936. Andy broke this streak when we won the U.S. Open in 2012. In 2012, Murray also won an Olympic Gold in his own country. Murray is still competing and playing at the top of his game today!

Andre Agassi

Andre Agassi is a retired American male professional tennis player. Andre was dominant in the game from the early 1990's to the mid 2000's. His most notable opponent was Pete Sampras. Andre has been married to the female professional tennis player, Steffi Graf, since 2001. Andre's charismatic personality along with solid game brought a lot of attention to not only him, but also the sport. Agassi is credited with helping to revive the popularity of tennis during his era. Andre won 8 grand slam title during his career on tour. He is only one of two to win the golden slam which is all four grand slam events in a year and an Olympic Gold. Agassi grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He retired on September 3, 2006 due to health concerns.

Steffi Graf

Steffi Graf is a former number 1 female professional tennis player. Steffi won an outstanding 22 grand slam single titles during her career. She holds the record for most grand slam championships won in the Open Era. In 2001, she married Andre Agassi a famous and well achieved male professional tennis player. Steffi Graf held the number one spot for 377 weeks. This sets the record for most weeks at number one for any male or female player. Steffi is the only player to win all four majors at least four times. This proves how well rounded her game was. From the 1987 French Open to the 1990 French Open Steffi reached thirteen consecutive grand slam singles finals. Steffi has been regarded by many people as the greatest female tennis player to ever live.

Victoria Azarenka

Victoria Azarenka is a female Belarusian professional tennis player. She is a former world number one and is currently ranked fifth. Victoria won the Miami Open just two days ago beating Kuznetsova in the final. Azarenka is 26 years old and a height of 6'0". She has won over $28 million dollars in her career. Victoria has played a little bit of doubles during her career but focuses mainly on singles. Her biggest accomplishments are winning 2 Australian Open Championship Titles in 2012 and 2013. Winning these title made her the only person, male or female, from Belarus to win a grand slam. Another achievement of hers is winning the bronze medal in the 2012 Olympics. Victoria's idol and motivation to become great is Steffi Graf. Beside winning 2 championships at the Australian Open, she got to the finals at both the 2011, and 2013 U.S. Opens.
